The conference will be held at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (BBAW) at the Gendarmenmarkt. The academy is located opposite the Konzerthaus, the French and German Cathedrals. The Brandenburg Gate and the Museum Island are both within walking distance.

The main objective of the conference is to present exciting news in the field of Innate Immunity of the Lung. Guest speakers will present recent highlights and current hypotheses. In a poster session cutting-edge data will be discussed. The best posters will be awarded with a price. Interested postgraduated participants of our conference can apply for our 2nd workshop on biomedical applications of high-end light microscopy.
